Description:
This certificate will combine Spanish language proficiency, business culture, and entrepreneurship to prepare students to seize opportunities in the global market. You will develop an extensive cultural and business knowledge of the Spanish-speaking world which represents over 420 million Spanish speakers in the world. The US Hispanic population is 58.9 million or 18.1% of its total population.
What can I do with this Major?

With this certificate, you will be able to:

  1. Communicate effectively in both oral and written in Spanish in the United States or abroad
  2. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities
  3. Prepare marketing and business plans for a new venture in Spanish
  4. Effectively “pitch” their new business idea to potential investors and partners from Spanish-speaking countries
