Catalog Description

This certificate of achievement program will provide high-level theoretical training and advanced diagnostic techniques. It will use advanced diagnostics tools and testing methods to increase technician's efficiency and accuracy. Additionally, it will cover Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen technology to prepare students to work on European automotive technology. Instructor approval must be obtained prior to enrollment.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon the completion of the program the student should be able to:
  1. Document the expertise needed to perform advanced-level measurements and testing for diagnosing automotive mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  2. Prove the expertise needed to perform high-level technician functions related to a system’s fault diagnosis.
  3. Demonstrate advanced-level diagnosis skills that will help them improve employment and advancement opportunities in the automobile repair industry.
