Measurable Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:
demonstrate 2 v 2 soccer drill;
demonstrate 3 v 3 soccer drills;
play 5 v 5 soccer for 90 minutes non-stop.
Course Content:
Review and practice of fundamentals of soccer:
Kicking
Passing
Dribbling
Trapping
Tackling
Heading
Shooting
Explanation, demonstration, and practice of the various aspects of
Offense
Defense
Game Strategy
Explanation, demonstration, and practice of drills relative to physical conditioning and improvement of the above skills
Explanation and discussion of rules and rule changes at the college level

Assignments and Methods of Evaluating Student Progress:
Demonstrate the ability to dribble the ball non stop for 30 minutes.
Watch a video on offensive strategy then write a paper on 2 v 2 offensive strategies.
demonstrate passing proficiency for a 2 v 2 offense.
