This course is designed to teach organized flag football. Intermediate play design and defensive and offensive schemes will be taught in a league structure.
Prerequisite: PEAC FFL1.

Measurable Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:
  1. consistently demonstrate the man to man pass defense in 7 on 7 flag football in goal line situations;
  2. demonstrate a legal block in flag football and be able to explain the difference between blocking in tackle football and flag football;
  3. set up a flag football tournament complete with pool play double elimination;
  4. demonstrate the ability to run a post, down and out and in route pass pattern for 7 on 7 flag football;
  5. demonstrate a rotational zone defense in flag football;
  6. demonstrate zone blitzes.
Course Content:
  1. Intermediate rules of flag football and how they differ from tackle football
  2. Rushing and blocking in flag football
  3. How to create a flag football tournament
  4. Refereeing flag football 
  5. Passing and running in flag football
  6. Defensive schemes for 7 on 7 flag football
  7. Offensive routes
  8. Zone Blitzes

Assignments and Methods of Evaluating Student Progress:
  1. write up a simple zone defense for a 7 on 7 flag football game.

Upon the completion of this course, the student should be able to:
  1. Demonstrate the rules, how to run a zone defense, and how to run defensive plays vs. a man defense for a 7 on 7 flag football game.
  2. Develop and demonstrate an advanced fundamental concept of how to run an offense vs a man defense.
