Measurable Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:
demonstrate the basic rules of 7 on 7 flag football;
demonstrate how to block in 7 on 7 flag football;
demonstrate how to run a zone defense in 7 on 7 flag football.

Basic rules of flag football and how they differ from tackle football
Rushing and blocking in flag football
How to create a flag football tournament
Refereeing flag football
Passing and running in flag football
Defensive schemes for 7 on 7 flag football

Assignments and Methods of Evaluating Student Progress:
1. Typical Assignments
Read the chapter on the game, field, players and equipment. Write a one page paper noting the differences between flag football and tackle football.
Know the rules of flag football. Be prepared to officiate a flag football game from start to finish.
Teach to the class the mechanics of a two-person, three-person and four-person official crew for a football game.
