PEAC TBB3 - Advanced Tournament Baseball

Designed for advanced-to-elite baseball students looking to increase skill levels in various facets of baseball. Individual, group and team aspects of the game will be addressed. Participation in competitive baseball will be required. Success in this class will require an extensive and advanced baseball skill level, background and experience.
Prerequisite: PEAC TBB2.

Measurable Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:
  1. demonstrate advanced-to-elite skill performance;
  2. perform advanced-to-elite skills in actual baseball games;
  3. develop a comprehension of team dynamics;
  4. obtain an understanding of various sport psychology principles.
Course Content:
  1. Sport-specific skill developmental sessions.
  2. Advanced-to-elite skill performance during actual games.
  3. Sport-specific physical conditioning.
  4. Team dynamics and working in subgroups, groups, and overall team.

  1. Demonstrate advanced-to-elite skill execution in developmental sessions.
  2. Demonstrate a basic understanding of applied baseball specific sport psychology principles and interventions.
  3. Demonstrate an ability to execute advanced-to-elite baseball sills during actual games.
