Description:

The EMT-1 certification is the minimum requirement for ambulance attendants and most entry level firefighter positions. EMT-1 certification is also required for entry into paramedic training. This training program is accredited by the Alameda County Emergency Medical Services Agency. 

What can I do with this Major?

Jobs include EMTs on an ambulance, emergency room technicians, athletic trainers, EMTs at a skilled nursing facility, patient transporters at hospitals, lifeguards, special rescue personnel, and ski patrol officers, among others.
