Measurable Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:
  1. demonstrate a knowledge of the rules of bubble soccer;
  2. demonstrate sportsmanship and fair play while in competition;
  3. demonstrate an improvement in cardiovascular fitness;
  4. demonstrate an understanding of offensive and defensive strategy while in competition.
Course Content:
1. Safety and rules for playing bubble soccer
2. Offensive strategies for bubble soccer
3. Defensive strategies for bubble soccer
4. Passing in bubble soccer
5. Instruction in court and field dimensions based on the number of players
6. Sportsmanship and social interaction with other students while playing

Assignments and Methods of Evaluating Student Progress:
  1. Bubble soccer is new activity that combines soccer while wearing an inflatable bubble suit. Write a one page paper on safety concerns that you might want to consider prior to competition.
  2. Review the rules of bubble soccer. Demonstrate to the class an offensive strategy that you believe would be successful.
  3. Demonstrate to the class how to set up a zone defense in bubble soccer.
