Measurable Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:
demonstrate ability to swim/train for 45-60 minutes;
demonstrate ability to incorporate use of Pace Clock effectively within the parameters of multi-disciplinary swim training.
demonstrated ability to use all training aides, such as hand paddles, pull buoys, kickboard, and fins.
Course Content:
Different componenets of energy systems and their effect on cardiovascular conditioning in the swimmer.
Effective heart rate tracking during swim training.
Training set design and implementation.
Goal Setting Techniques for achievement of training goals.
